Fitness enthusiast, entrepreneur, philanthropist, event host, and wife of professional basketball coach Fred Williams, Bo Talley is internationally known for her age-defying beauty. An advocate for healthy lifestyles over age 40, Talley shares tips on health and fitness, plus words of encouragement to over 71,000 social media supporters and fans every day. She had the honor of being the host at the Charlie Wilson Concert in Madison Square Garden during Super bowl XLVIII which was attended by over 22,000 fans. Featured in both national and international publications and networks including, NBC, BE Magazine, NStyle Magazine, Rolling Out, Sheen Magazine, Uptown Magazine, Blink Atlanta, Bo Talley continues to strive to be a motivation to women of all ages worldwide.
Bo Talley has always had the heart of paying it forward and serving her community. In early 2007, she and her four children started a nonprofit organization called Take the Time Foundation in an effort to help others who are less fortunate. In 2014, she formed the 1st ever All FEMALE Celebrity Charity Basketball Game in Atlanta, Georgia to help bring more awareness and funds to the chronic illness LUPUS. Her Celebrity Coaches and Players consisted of former WNBA Players, Actresses, Reality TV Stars, Models and more.
As an entrepreneur, Bo Talley took the entertainment world by storm in 2005 when she formed Blaq Pearl Entertainment Company with a vision to promote and plan the most exclusive events in the Southeast region. From film directors and actors to professional athletes and recording artists, her client roster includes names such as Comedian Pierre Edwards (Baps), DJ Benny-Demus (Akon’s DJ), NFL and WNBA players. Her entrepreneurial genius and outstanding leadership in communities around the world have led to many honors and recognitions including her 2014 induction into the Who’s Who in Black Atlanta. Other awards have included the Time Upward Bound Leadership Mentor Award - (Georgia State University), Outstanding leadership Award (The Evolution of She Awards), Women Who Give Back Award (Kelli Brew & Kevin Shyne Writing Sessions), Fitness woman of the year Award -(WILDE, Women In Leadership Development Empowerment), Outstanding support and leadership of full figured models leading a healthy lifestyle Award- (PHAT GIRL FRESH), BLACK WOMEN ARE AWARD- (Sistas Inspiring Sistas), Lupus Advocate of the Year- (Crowning Lupus LLC). In addition, she was honored by Ronald E McNair Discovery Learning Academy for her attributes to continue to give back to their school via their Annual Fill a Backpack Drive.
A former participant in Riverdale County’s Health and Wellness expo and Health and Fitness Expo held at the Georgia World Congress Center, Bo Talley will continue to promote healthy living through seminars, conferences, expos, and media platforms.
